Web Site Design Services

Fast loading pagesThinking of doing a web site, but not sure where to start? Or maybe you've got a web site, but it's not what you'd like it to be. Whether you're looking for a bit of guidence or want someone to create the entire site for you, we can help.

Here's a tip: Before hiring someone to work on your web site, spend some time looking at some of the sites they've done. If you're working on a web site for a business, keep the following questions in mind as you look at the site:

  • Why does the site exist?
  • Does the site clearly present the company's message?
  • Does the site present a professional image?
  • Does the site look inviting?
  • Does the site load quickly?
  • If you turn off your graphics, does the site still work well?
  • Is it easy to find information on the site?
  • And, most importantly, does the site sell the company's message, products, and/or services?

If you hire us to work on your site, we'll spend a significant amount of time developing an understanding of why you're doing a site, what you want the site to accomplish, and how your site fits into your overall marketing plan. That way we can create a site which meets your needs and goals.

The Process

Here's a brief overview of how we might proceed:Professional appearance

  • We'll discuss (via Email, fax or phone) your business, the products or services you provide, how you sell your products or services, your customers, your goals for your site, ideas you may have for your site, what you liked about the sites we've done, and what you didn't like about the sites we've done. In other words, we'll spend some time getting to know each other;
  • Using the information from this preliminary conversation, Customized Creations will put together a short list of questions designed to help us zero in on your goals and how to best meet them;
  • You'll answer the questions and add any information you feel is pertinent;
  • You'll send us any logos, photographs, artwork or sketches you want on the site, any literature, brochures or fliers that will allow us to make the site consistent with your other marketing efforts, and include a down payment of $75.00;
  • Customized Creations will create a first draft of the home page and (if appropriate) menu page;
  • Based on your comments and suggestions, we'll modify the pages;
  • When the first two pages are finished and approved, we'll begin work on the balance of your pages, submitting invoices when approximately 25%, 50% and 75% of your total site is complete.
  • When the site is complete, we'll submit an invoice for the balance.
  • After the site is complete, we'll update and modify it as needed at the rate of $45 per hour.
  • Overview of Rates

  • $55 per page (except for the first page);
  • $175 for the first page;
  • $15 per image for the first 20 minutes spent scanning, retouching or creating an image. $45 per hour for additional time spent on the image;
  • Forms, CGI scripts, and any page treatments or techniques not found in the sample sites listed above will be priced on a case by case basis;
  • Cold Fusion programming is priced on a case by case basis.
  • Research & consultation - $45 per hour;
  • Minor changes to completed site - $20 per page;
  • Major changes to completed site - $45 per page.
  • As we work on the first few pages for your site, there's going to be a lot of communication about your goals for the site, what we're doing, how you like the way we're doing your site, and what we need to do to "tweak" the site so it's what you want. The $175 charge for the first page covers up to four hours of communication and design work.
