The Dry Erase Limousine Board
This is a reduced size picture of a dry erase limo board. You know - one of those boards a limo driver writes your name on and then holds up so you get your limo instead of the one waiting for Rod Stewart.
The actual size of the board is 4 3/8" x 10 1/2" (about the same size as a sheet of paper folded in half the long way). The area on the board you can write in is 2 3/4" (2.75") high and 9 1/2" (9.75") wide.
The board has a handful of features which give it lots of flexibility - your limo driver can use it without making major changes in his or her current system.
Convenient Size: The board fits easily into the back pocket of a pair of pants or the side pocket of a suit coat. It may even fit in the breast pocket of some coats. This is important because after they've greeted their passenger, most drivers need two or three free hands to carry luggage.
Rounded Corners: The rounded corners keep your driver from getting poked as the board slides in and out of a pocket.
Gripper Clip: If your driver doesn't want to slide the board into a pocket, the gripper clip allows the board to be easily attached to a coat pocket, belt, or even many pieces of luggage. When the board is tucked away between uses, the gripper clip can hold the dry erase marker. An additional feature is that the gripper clip is held in place with a snap fastener, so if your driver doesn't want to use the gripper clip it is a simple matter to unsnap the clip and remove it from the board.
Magnetic Backing: If your driver sets the limo board on a fender or the limo roof before loading luggage into the trunk, no matter how hard the wind blows, this board will stay put. The magnet is strong enough that your driver can even anchor paperwork under the board while loading luggage.
Company Name & Phone Number Clearly Visible: Hundreds of people may walk past your driver while he or she is holding the dry erase board. With this dry erase limo board, every one of those folks will easily see the company name and phone number. Not only does this dry erase board make it easy for limo company customers to find their driver, it advertises the limo company name to everyone who walks by.
Water Resistant: The marker ink isn't water resistant, but the boards themselves are. I wouldn't take them scuba diving, but if they get a bit wet, it won't do any damage.

The Limousine Name Tag
The company name and the driver's name -both on a good looking, inexpensive name tag that features a magnetic fastener. No pins. No claps. Slide the magnetic fastener into a pocket or under a shirt, and the name tag is held in place by the force of the magnet. For a small additional set-up fee, a company logo can be used in place of the limo artwork shown here.
I don't know how well the photo shows it on your monitor, but the driver's name is printed in black and the company name is printed in a dark gray. Your eye is drawn first to the driver's name and then travels up to the name of the company.
The name tags are 1 5/8" tall by 3 1/4" wide, and cost just $3.95 each, plus shipping.
Several of my customers order two names tags for each employee. One name tag is given to the employee and the second name tag is set back in reserve. When an employee forgets or loses the original name tag, he can "rent" the reserve name tag on a daily basis. The "rent" is typically $1.00 a day, and the "rent money" goes into a kitty that is donated to a charity at the end of the year. This encourages everyone to remember their name tags and take care of them.
