Identify Medical Staff - A while ago, a real nice lady from a hospital's
Emergency Room called me to discuss a problem they were having - patient's
could read the names of doctors and staff
because the print on their hospital ID's was so small.
As you've probably guessed, we ended up putting together a name tag badge that is now
worn by all hospital employees in addition to their hospital ID. The hospital
ID lets the employees clock in and gain access to various parts of the hospital.
The name tag badges make it easy for patients and staff to read everyone's
name and job title. It is a "win-win" situation.
I don't have permission from the hospital to mention their name or display a picture of
their button, but I'll get a sample online soon.
Craft Shows - Her hobby was making jewelry out of old and antique buttons.
Her friends encouraged her to start selling her jewelry instead of giving it
away, so she exhibited her button jewelry in a few craft shows. Next thing
you know, her fellow vendors are calling her "The Button Lady." And the next
thing I know, she's calling me to see if I can design and make a name tag badge
for her.
No problem. I pulled out some buttons, grabbed my digital camera, and the next thing you
know, we've got a really nice looking button name badge. Actual size
of the button is 1.75" high by 2.75" wide.

Before I got the equipment to make name tag badges, all our name tags were the plastic
coated style shown below. While we still make the plastic coated style, I think
the name tag badges are a nicer looking product. Regardless of which style
you prefer, we'd love to talk with you about your name tag requirements.

This is an assortment of name tags. All are plastic coated with a magnetic fastener. Click Here to see a larger picture of the assortment. Please keep in mind that I hand cut almost all of the name tags, so you can get just about any size you want.
Also, since I print the artwork from my trusty computer, you can get just about anything on your name tags that I can get to display on the computer screen.
Coming Soon...
I have two different techniques for making name tags - "single cut" and "double cut." Please Click Here for a short description.
