Magnetic-Backed Dry-Erase "Cruise-In" Photo Calendar

Rick Bandimere is a realtor ( www.rickbandimere.com ) in Minnesota who is ordering 100 customized dry erase planning calendars to give to his customers and prospects - he said he likes the idea of having a full-sized magnetic back.

Rick sent me a photo of his '60 'Vette, asked me to use it as the background for his calendar, and gave me some other info he wanted on the promotional calendars.

Every now and then I see something that just strikes a chord with me. Rick's photo was one of those things. So in addition to making 100 copies of the promotional calendar Rick wants, I made this "Cruising Calendar" for him. I think it is one of the nicest looking dry erase planning calendars I've made.

Rick owns the copyright to the picture, so I can't use the photo on stuff for anyone else. I like the picture so well, though, that I may talk to some folks with classic cars and see if I can take similar pictures of their vehicles. If you're interested, please let me know.

For photo calendars similar to this, you pay for standard calendar plus a set-up/layout fee, a scanning fee, and shipping charges. If you send the image via E-mail, there is no scanning fee. Because this image was sent via E-mail in a JPG file, the pricing was $19.95 for the calendar + $8.00 set-up + $5.50 shipping for the first calendar and just the $19.95 + shipping for the subsequent orders.

Copyright: Please note that if you did not take the picture, I can't put it on a dry erase board until you get permission from the copyright owner (normally the person who took the photo).

Bill's Cruising Calendar

Hey... look at that - another classic car on a calendar. I think that is a Jaguar, but I can't be sure. And I have no idea what the year is. All I know is that Bill, the service manager at my local Goodyear Tire Store, did a great job of getting my Chevy Malibu fixed, and I thought this would be a pretty neat thank-you. Bill sure seemed to like it.

This image is from ArtToday.com's clipart collection, so I can make up to 100,000 of these dry erase boards without violating the copyright. One down, 99,999 to go!
