Magnetic-Backed Dry-Erase All Star Photo Calendar
"Rob," she wrote in an E-mail that had an attached file, "can you put this photograph on a weekly dry erase calendar and make the image faded-out so I can write on it?" Well, sure. No problem at all. This photo shows the calendar at a little less than half size - the calendar is actually about 10.5" tall and 15.5" wide. The refrigerator you see behind the calendar is NOT included in the price of the calendar. Of course, the image on this calendar isn't exactly what she was looking for. To start with, see the "Conshonocken 8 Year Old 2002 All Stars" caption at the top of the photograph? Welp, that caption was not on the original image she sent me. If ordering calendars like this becomes an annual tradition for this family, the caption will help them remember which team is which (if they order a calendar every year until their son gets out of high school, these folks are going to need a very big refrigerator). I also added the names of everyone in the picture to the bottom of the image. And finally, I removed the calendar grid lines from any place they went through someone's face. I think the calendar turned out very nice, don't you? So did the folks who ordered the calendar - after receiving the first one, they ordered two more. For photo calendars similar to this, you pay for standard calendar plus a set-up/layout fee, a scanning fee, and shipping charges. If you send the image via E-mail, there is no scanning fee. Because this image was sent via E-mail in a JPG file, the pricing was $19.95 for the calendar + $8.00 set-up + $5.50 shipping for the first calendar and just the $19.95 + shipping for the subsequent orders. Copyright: Please note that if you did not take the picture, I can't put it on a dry erase board until you get permission from the copyright owner (normally the person who took the photo).
